Bank Holiday

New Delhi: The month of August has begun. If you have any pending bank work, you can get it done immediately, as there are numerous bank holidays this month. According to the RBI calendar, banks across the country will remain closed for 14 days in August. Often, people have to return without getting their work done because they are unaware of the holiday schedule.

Therefore, it is important to be informed about the holidays. You should check the list of holidays applicable at both national and regional levels to avoid confusion and unnecessary hassle. Please note that online banking services will continue to operate smoothly even on holidays.

Understanding the Holiday Schedule

It is important to note that not all holidays apply nationwide. The list includes national holidays such as Independence Day as well as regional and state-specific festivals. This means that many holidays are limited to specific states or cities.
