The list of these hospitals can now be easily checked online, eliminating any inconvenience. Previously, checking this information was a hassle, but that is no longer the case.
Free treatment coverage of up to ₹5 lakh
You will be pleased to know that under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, eligible families receive free treatment coverage of up to ₹5 lakh annually. The objective of this scheme is to provide free medical care to the poor. It acts as a financial safety net for crores of impoverished and needy families across the nation, enabling cashless treatment at empanelled hospitals.
How to view the list of registered hospitals?
You can easily access information about hospitals empanelled under the Ayushman Bharat scheme without any trouble. Here is the process you need to follow:
First, visit the official website. Open the official Ayushman Bharat scheme website, pmjay.gov.in, in the browser on your mobile phone or computer.
Next, on the website’s homepage, you will easily find the ‘Find Hospital’ option in the menu bar. Click on it.
A new page will open where you will need to select specific details from dropdown menus.
Select the name of your state.
Then, select your district.
Next, choose between government and private hospitals.
Select the medical speciality or treatment required (e.g. Cardiology, Orthopaedics, etc.).
After that, fill in all the required details. Enter the captcha code displayed on the screen into the designated box.
Finally, click on the Search button. Based on the information you provide, a complete list of hospitals in your district that offer cashless treatment under the Ayushman Yojana will appear on the screen. This list includes details such as the hospital’s name, full address, contact number, and available facilities.
Thousands of hospitals across the country are empanelled under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, offering free medical treatment worth up to ₹5 lakh. This includes completely cashless secondary and tertiary care (such as surgeries and treatment for serious illnesses). Patients can avail themselves of treatment at these hospitals in any state.
