In light of the traffic jams in Noida and Greater Noida, plans are underway to introduce a new facility for ambulances. Traffic congestion in Noida and Greater Noida is so severe that ambulances barely have enough space to pass through. To address this issue, the Gautam Buddha Nagar Police have launched a new initiative, ensuring that ambulances transporting patients to hospitals will no longer face traffic jams. The police have made special arrangements for this purpose, launching a special campaign called “Operation Fast.” Under this campaign, arrangements have been made to provide 24-hour traffic assistance to ambulances. The goal is to ensure emergency patients are transported to the hospital as quickly as possible.

This initiative has been specifically launched for emergency patients, ensuring they reach the hospital in a short time. You’ve likely noticed that heavy traffic often causes ambulances to get stuck on the road, causing significant inconvenience to emergency patients. Now, ambulances won’t have to wait in long queues, meaning they won’t be stuck in traffic. This new police system will ensure patients reach the hospital on time.

What is Noida Police’s “Operation Fast”?

The police have launched a scheme called “Operation Fast.” Under this scheme, ambulances will be allowed to move ahead of traffic. As soon as the police spot an ambulance, they will be allowed to move first.

Police assistance will now be available 24 hours a day during traffic

The highlight of this campaign is that ambulances will be provided with special assistance to help them navigate traffic.
Traffic assistance will be available from the police 24 hours a day. This means that police assistance is now available at all times, day or night. Noida and Greater Noida are areas where the number of vehicles is constantly increasing, and traffic is constantly crowded during office hours, in markets, and at major intersections. This facility has been implemented keeping this in mind.

Helpline Number Issued for Ambulances

Under ‘Operation Fast,’ a helpline number for ambulances has also been issued by the police. Helpline Number: 9218891716
