AFCAT 1 2026: If you want to get a job in the Indian Air Force, then the Air Force Common Admission Test has released a notification for 340 posts in the Indian Air Force. Applications have started from 17 November 2025 and the last date to apply is 14 December 2025. Through this recruitment drive, 340 posts of Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) will be filled, for which even 12th pass candidates will be able to apply. Educational Eligibility for AFCAT 1 2026
To apply for AFCAT 1 2026, candidates must have passed the following educational eligibility criteria – For Flying Branch, candidates must have passed 12th class with Physics and Maths with minimum 50% marks from a recognized institute. Also, candidates must have a degree in Engineering or Technology with 60% marks. Whereas, for Ground Duty Technical Branch, candidates must have passed 12th class with Physics and Maths only. Only pass in Engineering and Technology is required.
Age Eligibility
A certain age limit has been fixed for the candidates to apply for these posts in AFCAT 1 2026. In this, candidates between 20 to 24 years can apply for Flying Branch and candidates between 20 to 26 years can apply for Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) posts.
Application Fee

Selection Process
In AFCAT 1 2026, candidates will be selected for these posts through Air Force Selection Board Interview and Medical Examination. In which written examination will be of 300 marks and there will be 100 questions. This examination will be of 2 hours duration. There will be negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer in this examination.
