Mahindra Veero Pickup Truck : There are many commercial vehicles available in the Indian commercial vehicle market which are used for commercial and logistics purposes. Mahindra has launched India’s first multi-energy modular pickup truck Mahindra Veero. It has been introduced with both diesel and CNG engine options.
Earlier pickup trucks did not have any special and modern features and the driver’s comfort was also not taken care of in them, but Mahindra has now changed this thinking and launched such a pickup truck which has been introduced with modern facilities along with being a commercial vehicle. It has been launched with an ex-showroom price of Rs 7.2 lakh.
Engine Options
The Mahindra Veero pickup truck is India’s first commercial vehicle to be launched with diesel and CNG options, and it’s expected that an electric version will also be introduced in the future.
Diesel Variant: It’s powered by a 1.5-liter mDI engine, producing 59.7 PS of power and 210 Nm of torque. Designed for long-distance and heavy-duty haulage, it delivers a mileage of 18.4 kilometers per liter, indicating excellent performance.
CNG Variant: It also offers a CNG engine option, used for last-mile delivery. This engine produces 67.2 PS of power and 210 Nm of torque, while its fuel efficiency is impressive at 19.2 kilometers per kilogram.
High Payload Capacity
Mahindra Veero pickup truck has been introduced with high payload capacity. Whenever you buy a pickup truck, you want to earn more money with minimum expenditure. For this, Mahindra has given payload options ranging from 1 ton to more than 2 tons, whose class leading payload capacity has been kept at 1600 kg and you can also customize it.
Interior
Mahindra pickup truck has been designed for long distance travel, due to which its interior has been kept very premium and special. Its cabin has been made very comfortable and it has been provided with very premium seats which you can adjust front and rear as per your convenience. Along with this, a 10.2 inch touch screen display has also been provided in it which is provided for connectivity and entertainment. Apart from this, a premium and ergonomic dashboard is also being provided in it and airbags have also been provided for safety features.
Exterior
Mahindra Veero pickup truck has been given a very attractive and strong look. It has a strong and large cargo deck which is about 10 feet long, due to which even heavy goods can be easily carried in it. Its front has been made very attractive, in which stylish front grille and headlamps have been given, due to which it looks quite modern. Its payload capacity has also been kept quite high and it has the capacity to carry weight ranging from 1400 kg to 1600 kg.
Safety
The Mahindra Veero pickup truck has been designed with utmost care for driver safety. Previously, it lacked airbags and was primarily used for cargo transportation. However, Mahindra has now incorporated airbags into its Veero pickup truck, making it India’s first pickup truck to feature airbags and also boasts a reverse parking camera.
Price
The Mahindra Veero is priced at ₹7.5 lakh (ex-showroom), plus RTO insurance charges. It competes with commercial vehicles like the Tata Intra series and Ashok Leyland Bada Dost. The Mahindra Veero could be a good option for those looking for a pickup truck that offers high profits at low costs, offers excellent driving comfort, modern features, and safety.
