Application Fee
To apply for RRB ALP Recruitment 2026, candidates must pay a fee according to their category. General, OBC, and EWS candidates will have to pay ₹500, while SC, ST, and PWD candidates will have to pay ₹250. Candidates can pay this fee using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
Eligibility
For RRB ALP Recruitment 2026, candidates must have passed 10th standard with ITI or 10th standard with a 3-year engineering diploma in a relevant trade. An engineering degree in a relevant trade will also be considered in lieu of a diploma. Regarding the age limit, the minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years. Reserved category candidates will also receive age relaxation, with SC and ST candidates receiving a 5-year age relaxation, and OBC candidates receiving a 3-year age relaxation.
Selection Process
Candidates for the RRB ALP Recruitment 2026 will be selected based on a CBT-1 (Computer Based Test) and CBT-2 (Computer Based Test), followed by a CBAT (Computer Based Aptitude Test/Psycho Test), followed by verification and medical examinations. A final list of selected candidates will be released, and those selected will be appointed to the position of Loco Pilot.
Salary
Candidates selected in the RRB ALP Recruitment 2026 will be given a starting salary of Rs 19,900 as per Pay Level-2, other allowances will also be included in it.
