Skoda has introduced a new electric car in the EV market that is getting attention across the world. The company has unveiled the Skoda Epiq EV, which is its most affordable and modern electric car so far. People were waiting for this EV for a long time, and it is being seen as an important product in Skoda’s electric vehicle lineup. The Skoda Epiq comes with a compact size, stylish modern design, premium interior, advanced features, powerful battery, and impressive driving range. Built on Skoda’s Modern Solid design language, this EV can become a great option for both city rides and long-distance travel in Europe and India.
Skoda Epiq EV
The Skoda Epiq EV is the company’s first production model to feature the brand’s completely new Modern Solid design language. This compact electric SUV measures 4171 mm in length, 1798 mm in width, and 1581 mm in height, along with a 2601 mm wheelbase.
Looks of New EV
The EV gets a futuristic look with slim DRLs, a blacked-out grille, Matrix LED headlamps, sporty front bumper, and silver skid plate. It also features stylish T-shaped LED tail lamps, aero-optimized alloy wheels, and a Tech-Deck Face instead of a traditional grille. For better efficiency and performance, the SUV comes with an impressive drag coefficient of just 0.275.

Features of the Skoda Epiq EV
Although the Skoda Epiq EV is compact in size, it offers a very spacious and premium cabin. The electric SUV comes with a luxury interior made using fully recycled and animal-free materials. It features a large 13-inch Android-based infotainment system, a 10-speaker Canton sound system, wireless smartphone connectivity, and wireless charging support. The SUV also gets a panoramic sunroof for a more premium feel. In terms of practicality, it offers a 475-litre boot space and an additional 25-litre frunk at the front. Skoda has also included its signature Simply Clever features like an umbrella and ice scraper, along with many other modern features.
Skoda’s new compact electric SUV, the Epiq EV, is the company’s first model based on the advanced MEB+ electric platform, specially developed for front-wheel-drive compact EVs. The electric SUV comes with two battery pack options — 38.5 kWh and 55 kWh — offering a driving range of up to 440 km on a single charge. The Epiq EV also supports fast charging and can charge from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes. Skoda has equipped this EV with bi-directional charging technology, including Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), Vehicle-to-Home (V2H), and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) support, allowing users to power home appliances directly from the car’s battery.
