Tata Motors has launched the 2026 Tata Punch EV at a starting price of Rs.9.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The Updated facelift model can travel up to 468 kilometers on a full charge. The company has introduced the new Punch EV with revised pricing and a new battery as a service BaaS option. Under the BaaS model, buyers can choose a lower upfront price and pay separately for battery usage, Making the SUV more affordable, the 2026 Punch EV is part of Tata Motors strategy to strengthen its position in India’s Compact electric SUV segment and attract more customers looking for budget-friendly electric vehicles.
The new 2026 tata punch EV now comes with a large 40 kWh battery pack option. This bigger battery offers an ARAI-Certified range of up to km on a single charge while the real world C75 driving range is around 355 km. In Addition, the existing 30 kwh battery pack continues to be available, delivering more than 300 km of real world range. Tata is set to launch the new punch EV with two battery pack options. 25Kwh and 35kwh. the 25kwh battery variant is expected to deliver a driving range of up to 315 km on a full charge, while the 35kwh battery version may offer a range of up to 421 km. The 25kwh model will come with a 3.3kw AC charger. Meanwhile, the 35kwh version will get a 7.2kw AC charger along with an option of 50kwh DC fast charging. the car is expected to have a top speed of 140kmph. punch is already one of the Tata’s best-selling cars, and the company expects strong customer response for this EV as well. According to the reports, The new Tata punch facelift is expected to get several stylish updates. It may feature a closed front grille, revised headlamp housing and a bonnet design similar to the punch EV. The DRLs have been shifted below the headlamps, giving the front a more modern look. the SUV could also get blacked out pillars and roof, electricity adjustable ORVMs with integrated indicators, a 360-degree camera. and new aero-style alloy wheels. At the rear, new tail lamps and a redesigned bumper are also expected to enhance its overall appeal.
