The coming week will be exciting for the people who love 7-seater cars, as Nissan Motor India si preparing to launch its new compact MPV, the Nissan Gravite. This Sub-4 meter 7-seater car is based on the renault triber and is expected to launch on 17 February. the Nissan gravite is mainly set to compete with the popular Maruti Suzuki ertiga. before the official launch, the company released a teaser video that revealed several features. the car is expected to offer a multi-functional steering wheel, dashcam, free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, LED Lights and keyless entry, making it a feature-packed and practical family car.
Exterior Design
Nissan Motor India has not officially revealed the exterior design of the new gravite but reports suggest that it will be based on Renault triber. nissan and Renault have a strong partnership and both the companies manufacture cars at the same plant in chennai. according to details seen in the teaser video, the gravite will be sub-4-meter car and may look similar to the Renault triber facelift. the car is expected to feature signature LED DRLs, sporty and angular front and rear bumpers, a large grille, and stylish LED headlights and tail lights, giving it a modern and attractive appearance.

In terms of design, the Nissan Gravite has been developed specially with the family car segment better cabin space, making it practical for everyday family use. the high stance and long roofline give the MPV a strong, SUV-Like presence along with the tekton compact SUV and the upcoming 7-Seater SUV, Nissan aims to strengthen its position in the family car segment. Nissan’s India subsidiary, Nissan motor India is also working on a plan to expand its business in the country. As part of this strategy, the company aims to increase its sales network from the network from the current 155 outlets to 250 by the end of FY 2026-27. Nissan’s chairman for africa, the middle east, India, and Oceania, Massimiliano Messina, said that the upcoming range of model in based on global experience but has been specially designed to meet the needs of Indian customers. he added that these new vehicles will be manufactured in india and exported to other countries. According to him, india is not just a sales market for Nissan but has become an important hub for growth and long-term strategy.
