Tata Motors Passenger vehicles revealed the facelift model of its popular car, the Tata Punch EV, on Monday. The new model, shown in a bright yellow color, looks very stylish and attractive. Tata is planning to launch this updated car on 20 February. The company first introduced the electric version of the punch in January 2024, and it quickly became popular among the buyers. After two years, Tata is bringing the car again with the new and improved features. however, the company has not announced the price yet. Tata is set to launch the new punch EV with two battery pack options. 25Kwh and 35kwh. the 25kwh battery variant is expected to deliver a driving range of up to 315 km on a full charge, while the 35kwh battery version may offer a range of up to 421 km. The 25kwh model will come with a 3.3kw AC charger. Meanwhile, the 35kwh version will get a 7.2kw AC charger along with an option of 50kwh DC fast charging. the car is expected to have a top speed of 140kmph. punch is already one of the Tata’s best-selling cars, and the company expects strong customer response for this EV as well.
According to the reports, The new Tata punch facelift is expected to get several stylish updates. It may feature a closed front grille, revised headlamp housing and a bonnet design similar to the punch EV. The DRLs have been shifted below the headlamps, giving the front a more modern look. the SUV could also get blacked out pillars and roof, electricity adjustable ORVMs with integrated indicators, a 360-degree camera. and new aero-style alloy wheels. At the rear, new tail lamps and a redesigned bumper are also expected to enhance its overall appeal.
