People planning to buy a new car have a good reason to be excited. Kia India has officially announced the prices of the all-new Kia Seltos 2026. the starting price of this mid-size SUV is Rs.10.99 lakh ex-showroom, which is much lower than the newly launched Tata Sierra. This second-generation seltos comes with many updates in size, design features and technology, making it more competitive in India’s crowded SUV market. The new seltos is available in four main variants-HTE, HTK, HTX and GTX along with several optional packs for buyers.
KIA Seltos features
The new Kia seltos is now 4,460 mm long with a wheelbase of 2,690mm, which improves cabin space and gives it a stronger road presence. It is built on Kia’s global K3 Platform, which is being used in India for the first time with this model. In terms of design, the SUV follows Kia’s opposites United styling theme. it gets a digital tiger face, automatic flush door handles and updates LED projector headlamps. At the rear, there is an integrated spoiler and hidden wiper. higher variants also get 18-inch alloy wheels and sportier finished, making the SUV look more premium.
Inside the cabin, the biggest highlight is the new 30-inch panormic display, which combines the instrument cluster and the infotainment screen into one wide unit. this gives the interior a modern and high-tech feel. The SUV also comes with a premium bose 8-speaker sound system for better audio quality. wirless android auto and apple carplay are included for easy smartphone connectivity. comfort featiures have also been improved with ventilated front seats, a 10-way power adjustable driver seat and a large panoramic sunroof. together, these upgrades make the new seltos feel more luxurious, comfortable and well-suited for long drives as well as daily city use.
In terms of safety and driver assistance, the new kia seltos comes well equipped. it gets six airbags, ABS, hill-start assist and advanced level-2 ADAS technology. the SUV offer 21 driver assistance features, including adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping support, making driving safer and more relaxed. under the hood, buyers can choose from three engine options- a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5 litre turbo petrol and a 1.5 litre diesel. there are also multiple transmission choices such as manual, iMT, IVT, Dual-clutch automatic and torque converter automatic, giving customers plenty of flexibility.
