Yamaha Lander 250: Yamaha, a leading Japanese automobile manufacturer, is all set to launch its adventure touring motorcycle, the Yamaha Lander 250, in India. This motorcycle was recently unveiled at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025, and bike enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting its launch. This bike will be suitable for both urban and off-roading purposes. It is a dual-sport bike, powered by a 259cc air-cooled engine and equipped with a host of impressive features.

It is expected to be priced between ₹1.80 lakh and ₹2 lakh (ex-showroom). It is expected to launch by the end of 2025. Upon launch, it will compete with motorcycles like the Hero XPulse 210 and Kawasaki KLX 230. Let’s explore its features, engine, design, and pricing in detail.

The Yamaha Lander 250 is powered by a 249cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 20.5 PS of power and 20.1 Nm of torque. It’s paired to a 5-speed gearbox and can reach a top speed of 145 km/h. Its powerful engine makes it ideal for off-roading.

The Yamaha Lander 250 motorcycle is offered with off-roading capabilities that allow it to easily navigate even rough terrains. It offers a ground clearance of 240 mm and is equipped with 220 mm telescopic forks at the front and 204 mm monocoque suspension at the rear that helps the rider to handle rough terrains.

Design

The Yamaha Lander 250 features a dual-spec design that can be used for both urban and off-road use. It features a long, beak-like mudguard at the front, reminiscent of a dirt bike, and an upswept exhaust, providing improved water-wicking capabilities for off-roading. It features a single headlight, a projector LED light, and a center-mounted design. It features a single seat that’s 875 mm high and an LCD display for smartphone connectivity. It rides on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels, which are strikingly attractive.
