Eligibility
To apply for RRB NTPC Vacancy 2025, candidates must fulfil the educational and age eligibility criteria. Talking about educational eligibility, candidates must have passed 12th with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board, whereas SC ST and differently-abled candidates must have passed only 12th and for Account Clerk cum Typist, knowledge of 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi typing is required. If we talk about age eligibility, then the minimum age limit is 18 years and candidates up to maximum 30 years can apply in it. Candidates from reserved category will be given relaxation in age limit as per rules.
Selection Process
Candidates for the RRB NTPC Vacancy 2025 will be selected based on a written examination (CBT-1 and CBT-2).
CBT-1 exam will be the same for all positions and will last 90 minutes. The exam will consist of 100 questions, including 40 questions from General Awareness, 30 questions from Mathematics, and 30 questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning. There will be one mark for each correct answer and negative marking of one-third for each incorrect answer.
CBT-2 exam will also be the same for all positions and will last 90 minutes. The total number of questions asked will be 120. Of these, 50 questions will be from General Awareness, 35 from Mathematics, and 35 from General Intelligence and Reasoning.
Those who pass these exams will be called for an interview, where the final selection will be made. The candidates who will be selected for these posts will be given a basic salary ranging from Rs 19,900 to Rs 25,500, apart from this they will also be given other allowances.
