Politics in Telangana has heated up ahead of the upcoming Jubilee Hills assembly by election. Recently, Chief Minister Revath Reddy said that Congress Means Muslims and Muslims means congress. His statement sparked controversy, with the BJP Accusing him of appeasing the Muslim Community just to gain their votes. Taking a shar dig, BJP leaders and the Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar launched a fresh attack on the CM. On Thursday, he questioned whether AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi had ever performed prayers at the Bhagyalakshmi Temple. Kumar challenged Revath Reddy, Saying that if he truly believes in equality, he should ask owaisi to perform aarti in the temple. the remark has further intensified the political battle between the congress and the BJP in Telangana.

During the Jubilee Hills by-election campaign, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar sharply criticized chief minister Revanth Reddy. he said that is Reddy truly has courage, he should make AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi perform aarti in a temple. The minister further urged Hindu votes in Jubilee hills not to become a mere vote bank but to ensure victory for the right candidate. he warned that if congress or BRS wins, Hindu may not be able to celebrate their festivals freely. Kumar also mocked the CM, saying he should ask former chief cricketer Azharuddin to apply tilak on his forehead.

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar Further accused AIMIM chief Asadussin Owaisi of dreaming to make India an Islamic nation by 2047 and alleged that Owaisi and Chief Minister Revath Reddy were conspiring to Islamize Telangana. he claimed these were deliberate political moves to gain the votes. Speaking rhetorically, Kumar said that if there ever came a day then he had to wear a cap for votes, he would rather have his head shaved. His remarks add to the charged communal tone of the Jubilee Hills by-election campaign and have sparked criticism from opposition leaders and civil society and raised public concern.
The Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election is scheduled to be held on November 11. According to the election commission, he results will be announced on November 14. along with the Bihar assembly election results. the By-election was necessitated following the death of BRS MLA Maganti gopinath in june this year due to a heart attack. his sudden demise left the seat vacant, prompting the election announcement.
