The BJP has responded to Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of vote stealing. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said that when congress leaders don’t work how can they expect to win? He added that Rahul Gandhi often makes the false claims under fake names and never asks seriously. Rijiju said Rahu’s accusations have no strength and are only meant to mislead people. According to him, Rahul Gandhi helps another press conference just to hide his failures. He pointed out that while voting is taking place in Bihar, Rahul Gandhi was taking place in Bihar, Rahul Gandhi was talking about Haryana. Rijiju clearly shows that congress has no real issues left in Bihar, so they are trying to distract people by creating new controversies.

He also pointed out that congress leaders only appreciate the system when results favor them. Rijiju added that even when exist polls show supports for congress, they celebrate and praise the media. But when the results go against them, they start blaming the media and questioning the process. he also said this attitude reflects congress’s inability to accept democratic outcomes gracefully and shows a lack of maturity in dealing with both success and failure in politics.

Rijiju reminded that in the 2004 Lok Sabha Elections, both exit polls and opinion polls has predicted a victory for the BJP and NDA. However, when the actual counting take place, the NDA lost. He emphasized that despite the unexpected result, the BJP accepted the people’s verdict and congratulated the UPA for their win. Rijiju added that unlike congress, the BJP never blamed the election commission or questioning the democratic process when the results did not favor them.

Rijiju further said that Rahul’s false claims are part of a larger attempt to mislead the public. He also warned that Rahul Gandhi’s alliance with the anti-India forces and his negative politics will never succeed.
