Under this new system, citizens will be able to apply for the important documents like birth and caste certifications directly through WhatsApp. Once the application is processed, the certificates will also be delivered on the same app. According to officials, around 50 government services have been identified that will soon be available through WhatsApp. this new step aims to make government work faster, easier and more transparent, saving people time and effort while reducing long queues and paperwork at government offices. which generally creates the chaos.

The official also added that this move will help to reduce delays, improve communication between departments and ensure that citizens can access essential public services with just a few simple messages on their phones.
The official explained that users will be able to interact with a bilingual chatbot available in both Hindi and English on WhatsApp. this chatbot will guide citizens step-by-step through the process of applying for documents such as birth and caste certificates, along with other government services. it will also help users upload the required documents and make online payments easily within the chat itself. the aim is to simplify the entire application process so that people can complete government-related tasks from their homes. by using this AI-powered chatbot, the Delhi government hopes to make public services more user-friendly efficient and convenient for everyone, reducing the need for in-person visits to government offices.
