The process of application for these posts has started from 1 August 2025 and the last date to apply is 21.8.2025. Through this recruitment, 10,277 posts of clerk will be filled in 11 government banks in various states across the country. Educational and age eligibility
To apply for the post of clerk in IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025, the candidate must have a graduation degree from any recognized university or an equivalent degree from an institute recognized by the Government of India.
Talking about age eligibility, the minimum age limit is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years, applicants of reserved category will be given relaxation in age limit as per rules. In which SC and ST category applicants will be given 5 years relaxation and OBC category applicants will be given 3 years relaxation.
Application fee
To apply for these posts in IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025, the applicant has to pay a fixed fee in which the general category applicants will have to pay a fee of 850 while the reserved category applicants will have to pay Rs 175. This fee will be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI ID.
Selection Process
The selection process for recruitment to these posts in IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025 will be done in two stages. Online Prelims Exam and Online Mains Exam. The online prelims exam will have 100 questions which have to be answered in 60 minutes. It will be of total 100 marks, out of which 30 marks will be for English, 35 marks for Numerical Ability and 35 marks for Reasoning Ability.
There will be 190 questions in the online mains exam, for which 160 minutes will be given, this exam will be of 200 marks, in which 50 questions of General and Financial Awareness, 40 questions of General English and 50 questions of Reasoning Ability and 50 questions of Computer Aptitude and 50 questions of Quantitative Aptitude will be asked, there will also be negative marking in it.
