Mahila e-bike yojana 2025: The government is running many schemes for women to promote women empowerment and women become self-reliant and live their lives with self-respect. Now there is another big good news for women, the government is going to give free electric scooters to women during the festival of Rakshabandhan.
In this scheme, women will be given free electric scooters, in some states it will be given to women for free while in some states it will be given at a subsidy of up to 80%. 10 lakh women will get the benefit of this scheme, the main objective of which is to promote green energy and promote women empowerment, under this, women from urban and rural areas have been targeted in which they will be given free electric scooters.
The target of the scheme
Mahila e-bike yojana 2025, is to provide its benefits to 10 lakh women by the end of 2025. This scooty is being given free in some states and with a subsidy of up to 80% in some states. This scheme is very important for those women who work or travel daily for their employment, the process of registration for this scheme has also started.
The scooter will give a range of up to 100 km
The scooty to be given in Mahila e-bike yojana 2025 will have great features, great design and powerful engine. This scooter will give a range of 70 to 100 km, which will also be very easy to charge. It can be charged quickly with the help of a fast charger, along with the scooter, women will also be given helmet, charger and insurance cover for free.
These women will be given priority
These women will be given priority in Mahila e-bike yojana 2025 –
- Women who travel daily for self-employment or job will get the benefit.
- Women who are widows and live alone will get the benefit of the scheme.
- Women who do not already have a two-wheeler will be given the benefit of this scheme.
- Women who work in Anganwadi and are members of women self-help groups will get the benefit of the scheme.
- Those girl students who go to school or college and have problems in commuting will be given the benefit of this scheme.
Eligibility for the scheme
Some eligibility has been fixed for women to apply in Mahila e-bike yojana 2025. Let us know about these eligibility –
- The woman must be a citizen of India. Women who are 18 years of age or above will be given the benefit of the scheme.
- To avail the benefit of this scheme, the annual income of the woman’s family should not exceed 2.5 lakhs.
- Those women who have not received any electric bike subsidy in any government or private scheme will get the benefit of the scheme.
- To avail the benefit of the scheme, women must have a driving license.
