In high-level meeting with the energy department, CM Yogi clearly told the officials that problems like tripping, overbilling and unnecessary power cuts will not be accepted under any condition. He said the system must be improved without delay. The chief minister made it clear that people should get proper electricity supply, and strict action will be taken if things do not get better soon. Officials were asked to fix the issues immediately.

CM yogi Adityanath told the electricity department officials that there is no shortage of money, power supply or resources. So, there should be no excuse for poor management. He warned that if the system is not improved, strict actin will be taken. He said electricity is no longer just a service but a basic need and a matter of public trust. The chief minister also reviewed the ground reality of the power supply across the state. He asked all DISCOMs power distribution companies to take responsibility and explain what steps they are taking to improve the situation and ensure better service. The chief minister expressed strong anger over the ongoing complaints of power tripping and directed that each feeder should be technically checked. He said weak points must be identified and fixed without delay. CM yogi also ordered that the capacity of transformers should be increased wherever needed to avoid overloading. He also stressed that all real complaints coming from the field must be resolved on timely basis so that people get relief. The focus, he said should be on quick and to ensure smooth and uninterrupted power supply across the state.

The government has provided a record budget to strengthen power generation, transmission and distribution. In such a situation, negligence at any level will no longer be tolerated. He made it very clear to the officials that everyone at every level that the people and officials involved in the system should take their responsibility for improving the service and ensuring the reliable electricity for the public of the state.
