According to the recent reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Is set to begin a two-nation tour from July 23. He will first visit the united kingdom from july 23 to 24, 2025 at the invitation of UK prime Minister Keir Starmer. This will be pm modi’s fourth visit to the UK. After that, he will travel to the Maldives from july 25 to 26, 2025 on the invitation of Maldivian president Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. This will be PM Modi’s third visit to the Maldives. Notable, this will also be the first official visit by any head of the state or government to the Maldives since Dr.Muizzu became president. Both visits are expected to strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation in areas such as trade, security, climate and regional stability.
As per the reports, during his visit to the UK, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold the detailed talk with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer on all aspects of India-UK bilateral relations. They will also exchange views on important regional and global issues. PM Modi is also expected to meet king Charles II during the vidit. Both sides will review the progress of the comprehensive strategic partnership CSP focusing on key areas like trade and economy, technology and innovation, defense and security, climate, health education and people-to-people ties. The discussions aim to strengthen cooperation and deepen ties between the two countries. Pm modi will leave for the UK on july 23, marking his fourth visit to Britain. Also, he will be the chief guest there and During the visit to the Maldives he will also be meeting to the Maldivian president Dr.Mohamed Muizzu, and the two leaders will discuss issues of the mutual interest. They will also review the progress made in implementing the “India-Maldives Joint Vision” for a comprehensive economy and Maritime security partnership. The joint vision was adopted during the president muizzu’s official viit to india in October 2024.
