First launched in the 1970s by Ideal Jawa, the original Yezdi Roadking quickly became a favorite among biking enthusiasts for its powerful 250cc two stroke engine, strong build, and distinctive exhaust note. It was more than just a motorcycle, it was a statement. Whether used for long road trips or day to day riding, the Roadking earned a loyal following across generations.After being discontinued in the 1990s, the Yezdi brand made a bold return in 2022 under the Classic Legends banner (also responsible for reviving Jawa Motorcycles). And with it, the Roadking is set to return, now equipped with modern technology but the same raw DNA.

As of mid 2025, there’s no official launch date or price from Yezdi. However, based on the brand’s current lineup (like the Yezdi Scrambler and Roadster), we can expect the new Roadking to be priced in the range of, ₹2.20 lakh to ₹2.60 lakh (ex showroom, India) This places it in direct competition with bikes like the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda CB350 RS, and Jawa 42 Bobber.
