Pune based Vayve Mobility has unveiled the Eva, India’s first solar powered electric vehicle (EV), at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Designed for urban commuting, the Eva combines affordability, sustainability, and advanced technology, making it a compelling option for eco conscious drivers. The Vayve Eva represents a significant step forward in India’s electric mobility landscape.

Vayve Mobility Eva Pricing and Variants
The Eva is available in three variants, each offering different battery capacities and pricing options,Nova (9 kWh), Priced at ₹3.99 lakh ex showroom, or ₹3.25 lakh with a battery subscription.Stella (12.6 kWh), Priced at ₹4.99 lakh ex showroom, or ₹3.99 lakh with a battery subscription.Vega (18 kWh), Priced at ₹5.99 lakh ex showroom, or ₹4.49 lakh with a battery subscription.The battery subscription model offers flexibility, with monthly charges covering a set distance per variant. Additionally, an optional solar roof is available, priced at ₹20,000 for the Nova and Stella variants, and ₹25,000 for the Vega variant.
Vayve Mobility Eva Design and Features
The Eva features a compact, two door design tailored for urban environments.Its dimensions are 3,060 mm in length, 1,150 mm in width, and 1,590 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,200 mm. The vehicle accommodates three passengers, a single front seat and a rear bench seat.Inside, the Eva boasts a dual screen setup, including a touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additional features include climate control, a reverse parking camera, hill hold assist, vehicle diagnostics, and over the air updates.

Vayve Mobility Eva Performance and Range
The Eva is powered by a rear mounted electric motor delivering 40 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in just 5 seconds and has a top speed of 70 km/h.The vehicle offers three battery options,9 kWh, Provides a range of up to 125 km per charge.12.6 kWh, Offers a range of up to 175 km per charge.18 kWh, Delivers a range of up to 250 km per charge.The optional solar roof can add up to 10 km to the driving range daily, contributing to an annual mileage of up to 3,000 km without additional charging costs. The Eva’s running cost is approximately ₹0.50 per kilometer, making it a cost effective alternative to traditional petrol vehicles.
Vayve Mobility Eva Charging and Availability
The Eva supports both AC and DC charging. Using a DC fast charger, the battery can be charged from 10% to 70% in just 15 minutes. With a standard 15A household socket, a full charge takes up to 5 hours.Deliveries of the Eva are expected to commence in the second half of 2026. Pre bookings are currently open with a token amount of ₹5,000. The first 25,000 customers will receive additional benefits, including an extended battery warranty and three years of complimentary vehicle connectivity.
