In the Delhi Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won a big victory and removed the Aam Aadmi Party from power. This is BJP’s first win in a Delhi Assembly election in nearly 27 years. The Congress performed poorly in the elections. However, Congress leader Rashid Alvi made a controversial statement about BJP’s victory. He said that the election results are a matter of concern for Delhi’s Muslims.

Bidhuri Targets Kejriwal

BJP leader Bidhuri criticized former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of misleading people with false promises and distributing free benefits. He said that Kejriwal won twice because he gave out freebies and made fake promises, but in the last 10 years, his reality has been exposed. Bidhuri added that if the people of Kalkaji want development, they will vote out Atishi. He claimed that his lead in Kalkaji was a blessing from the people. However, despite his confidence, Bidhuri lost the election by more than 3,500 votes.

Comment on CM Position

Bidhuri further said that Kejriwal has done no real work in Delhi over the past decade. He believes that the difficult times are ending and that the BJP will soon come to power. He emphasized that BJP leaders are here to serve the people, not to chase positions like Chief Minister.

Party Leadership Will Decide on CM Post: Sachdeva

As the counting of votes for the Delhi Assembly elections continued, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva stated that the next Chief Minister would be from the BJP. However, he clarified that the final decision on the CM’s name would be taken by the party’s central leadership.

Sachdeva praised BJP candidates for their hard work and said that the people of Delhi had voted for a development-focused and corruption-free governance model. He further added that voters chose Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership because they wanted a model of progress and good governance.
