Ola launches 8 new scooters based on the 3rd generation, check out the features and prices

 The price of Ola Electric’s S1 X series is Rs. 79,999 for the model with a 2 kWh battery, Rs. 89,999 for the 3 kWh battery model, and Rs. 99,999 for the 4 kWh battery model.

Ola Electric said on Friday that it has launched 8 scooter models under its S1 brand, developed on the ‘Generation 3’ platform. The prices of these scooters range from Rs. 79,999 to Rs. 1,69,999. The company also mentioned that it will continue selling scooters based on the ‘Generation 2’ platform. Ola announced discounts of up to Rs. 35,000 on the ‘Generation 2’ scooters. The price of the S1 Pro model will now be Rs. 1,14,999, while the S1 X models with 2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh batteries will start at Rs. 69,999, Rs. 79,999, and Rs. 89,999, respectively.

Ola Electric’s Chairman and Managing Director, Bhavish Aggarwal, said in a statement, “The company had made scooters available for every price range with the Generation-2 scooters, and now, with scooters based on the Generation-3 platform, we are taking the electric two-wheeler industry to the next level.” He mentioned that the Generation-3 platform offers unmatched performance, better efficiency, and new standards set by the company, which will once again change the industry. The scooters based on the Generation-3 platform include two models in the S1 Pro Plus Series with 5.3 kWh and 4 kWh batteries, priced at Rs. 1,69,999 and Rs. 1,54,999, respectively.

Meanwhile, the S1 Pro Series models with 4 kWh and 3 kWh batteries are priced at Rs. 1,34,999 and Rs. 1,14,999, respectively. Ola Electric’s S1 X Series models are priced at Rs. 79,999 for the 2 kWh battery, Rs. 89,999 for the 3 kWh model, and Rs. 99,999 for the 4 kWh model. Additionally, the company has priced the 4 kWh S1 X Plus model at Rs. 1,07,999. Ola claims that the Generation-3 platform takes performance, efficiency, safety, and reliability to the next level. Compared to previous generation models, the Generation-3 scooters have seen a 20% increase in maximum power, an 11% reduction in cost, and a 20% increase in range.
