Banglar Bari Schemes : From time to time, the government runs many schemes for the benefit of the citizens, which benefit them, where some schemes are run for students, some for adults and women, one such scheme is being run in West Bengal which is called Banglar Bari Schemes, in this scheme, people who are not financially well off will be given financial assistance of Rs 1.2 lakh by the government to build their own house.
Under this scheme, ₹60000 has been sent directly to the accounts of 12 lakh people so far. People are being identified for this scheme so that the right people can be given the benefit of this scheme. So far, more than 28 lakh eligible people have been identified and it is expected that the amount to be given under this will be provided by the year 2025.
₹60000 given as first installment
Under Banglar Bari Schemes, till now ₹60000 has been debited in the accounts of 12 lakh applicants by the Chief Minister of West Bengal, other beneficiaries are being identified and by the end of the year money will be debited in the accounts of all the beneficiaries.
What is Banglar Bari Schemes?
This is a scheme of West Bengal which has been released by Mamata Banerjee in the year 2024, under which poor and eligible families will be given financial assistance of Rs 1,20,000 to build a pucca house. This amount will be given in their accounts in two installments, in which an amount of ₹ 60000 has been sent to the accounts of the beneficiaries as the first installment and the second amount is expected to be given in December. In this scheme, till now a target has been set to give the benefit of this scheme to 12 lakh families of 21 districts.
Objective of Banglar Bari Schemes
The objective of this scheme is to provide money to the poor and helpless people living in Bengal who do not have their own pucca house, to build a house at a low cost so that they can build a pucca house for themselves, in which mainly the poor and helpless people will be given its benefit.
Banglar Bari Schemes Eligibility
- To apply in this scheme, applicants must be residents of West Bengal.
- The benefit of this scheme will be given only if the applicant does not have any pucca house.
- The applicant will get the benefit in this scheme only when he has his own land in which he wants to build his pucca house.
- The benefit of this scheme will be given to the people of economically weaker section.
