Mamta Kulkarni ‘Sanyas’
Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni has taken the path of sanyas and has become Mahamandleshwar of Kinnar Akhara. She has been one of the top actresses of Bollywood who has given one hit movie after another. She reached Maha Kumbh on Thursday itself. After this, she took a bath in the confluence of Maha Kumbh on Friday and announced her decision to renounce her domestic life and adopt a life of sanyas.
Mamta Kulkarni’s coronation
Mamta Kulkarni performed her Pinddaan before taking Sannyas Diksha and was coronated as Mahamandaleshwar amidst chanting of Vedic mantras. Mamta had tears in her eyes while taking Sannyas Diksha, on Friday she took Sannyas Diksha after bathing in the Ganga and became Mahamandaleshwar of Kinnar Akhara. After coronation, Mamta Kulkarni’s name has become Yamai Mamta Nand Giri.
Why did Mamta decide to retire
Mamta Kulkarni said that she did not take the decision to retire under any pressure but for the feeling of bliss, she said that I had left Bollywood 23 years ago and at the time I left Bollywood, I had 25 films, now I will be able to propagate Sanatan Dharma freely.
She said that I chose the Kinnar Akhara because it is a moderate one and there are very few restrictions in it, so I can work freely while working in this Akhara. At the same time, if Mamta wishes to work in Bollywood even after retiring, she can do so.
Mamta Kulkarni has now become Yamai Mamta Nand Giri
After taking the initiation of sanyas, Mamta Kulkarni has taken the post of Mahamandaleshwar in the Kinnar Akhara, let us tell you that the post of Mahamandaleshwar is the second highest post in any Akhara, the highest post in this is that of Shankaracharya. Now she will serve as Mahamandaleshwar in Vrindavan, before this she performed her Pinddaan by taking a dip in the confluence of Ganga.
