Students who complete law studies at CCSU register with Bar Councils across the country. When verification is required, the Bar Council sends the degree to CCSU. If there is no record of the degree, it is considered fake. This is a standard process, and LLB degree verifications are frequently received for inspection.

Companies also verify degrees and mark sheets. Every month, CCSU receives between 1,500 to 2,000 degrees and mark sheets for verification from various states. A fee of 350 rupees is charged for checking each document. The university then checks its records to confirm if the degree exists. If there is no record, it indicates that the degree might be forged, created using a computer outside the system.

This is how the fraud is uncovered:

When a young person gets a government or private job, their certificates are verified with the relevant university. Every day, 30 to 40 degrees and mark sheets are sent to Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) for verification.
