What is Janani Suraksha Yojana?
This scheme is a central government scheme which was started in 2005 by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, in which women living below the poverty line get its benefit, under which women in rural areas get financial assistance of Rs 1400 and women in urban areas get financial assistance of Rs 1000.
