New Delhi: Amidst allegations of arbitrarily altering the SIR process, the Chief Election Commissioner is facing opposition not only from political parties but now also from the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP), which is set to arrive in Delhi. The ‘INDIA’ bloc has been protesting continuously for three days, and in two days, starting October 10, 202,6 the Cockroach Janata Party will also join the fray.

The CJP declared that the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar alone would not suffice; significant reforms to the electoral system are required this time. The entire CJP has geared up to launch a movement at Jantar Mantar. CJP Co-convenor Sourav Das launched a scathing attack on the Chief Election Commissioner. He addressed the CEC, saying, “Gyanu, the cockroaches are coming for you.” Writing on the social media platform X, he stated, “Come what may, friends, this movement will continue unabated until our demands are met.

Questions Raised Against the BJP Government

Cockroach Janata Party Chief Spokesperson Sourav Das targeted the central government and BJP-ruled state governments in a post on X. He wrote, “You must be seeing the visuals of CJP protesters—the youth, the ‘cockroaches’—across the country. Police are detaining them in BJP-ruled states.”

He added that they are even being placed under house arrest. Sourav Das further questioned the reason behind such fear, asking, “What has rattled them so much that, for a peaceful protest scheduled in Delhi, they are airlifting 40,000 police personnel, CRPF, and CISF troops from Jammu & Kashmir?”

He noted that security forces are being airlifted from West Bengal and even from Naxal-affected areas to be brought to Delhi. He further questioned why Delhi is being turned into a fortress in this manner. All we are asking for is access to Jantar Mantar, the designated site for sit-ins and protests, ts so we can stage our demonstration there. Instead, they refuse to grant even that and deploy police to use batons against us; however, these tactics will not work.

The nation’s youth are demanding answers.s

Questioning the government’s actions, CAP leader Sourav Das stated that the country’s youth are demanding accountability. They have realised that if their right to vote is taken away, the system will not change; the country’s condition will only deteriorate further. “If we want to improve the nation, secure our future, and enhance the education system, we must protect our right to vote. Now, an indefinite protest will be held at Jantar Mantar for this.
