New Delhi: Amidst preparations for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, all political parties are pulling out all the stops to capture power. Ahead of the polls, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made a major announcement. During an event in Gorakhpur, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development projects worth approximately ₹40 crore.
A grand ‘Kalyan Mandapam’ was also inaugurated on this occasion. During the event, CM Yogi made a significant announcement regarding the youth, stating that the state government aims to provide government jobs to one lakh (100,000) young people before the Assembly election dates are announced.
He further emphasised that the youth should receive jobs without any discrimination. The government’s goal is to ensure employment, including TGT and PGT roles in basic and secondary schools, for one lakh youths before the election announcement.

CM Yogi Adityanath reiterated that the youth must get jobs without any discrimination. He added that the government would work to provide government jobs to one lakh youths in UP within the next six months, before the Assembly elections are announced. The government appears to be accelerating the recruitment process to provide employment opportunities to the youth.
Yogi also aimed at previous administrations, specifically referencing the tenure of Akhilesh Yadav. He remarked that while advertisements for government jobs were issued back then, the recruitment process was allegedly rife with corruption, including deal-making and extortion. Consequently, deserving youths failed to secure jobs, and their futures were adversely affected.
CM Yogi Adityanath noted that disputes surrounding recruitment processes and court-ordered stays used to impact both the time and the future of the youth. He further claimed that the poor law-and-order situation during that era hampered development work and deterred people from working.
CM also mentioned Ramgarh Tal.
CM Yogi Adityanath spoke about the development of Gorakhpur and Ramgarh Tal. He recalled that the area used to be plagued by filth and crime, and people were afraid to visit it. In reality, this filth and disease did not originate in Gorakhpur itself; rather, it was the consequence of the depraved mindset of the SP and Congress governments. Consequently, Gorakhpur had even become a hub for criminal activities.
UP Now Free from Riots and Curfews
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a significant statement regarding law and order. He declared that the state is now completely free from curfews and riots, and the rule of law prevails. He noted that strict action has been taken against criminals. He further asserted that no criminal now dares to issue open threats, commit abductions, or demand extortion from traders. The government’s objective is to provide a safe environment for every individual in the state. Security arrangements are being ensured so that all festivals and celebrations can take place in a peaceful and congenial atmosphere.
