Ingredients Required for Making Neem Soap

To make neem soap at home, you’ll need a few simple ingredients that are easily available, yet cost less.

  • Clean and fresh neem leaves
  • About 250 grams of Melt and Pour Soap Base
  • 1 teaspoon of neem powder
  • 1 teaspoon of neem oil
  • 4–5 drops of Vitamin E oil
  • Silicone mold for soap making
  • A clean bowl and spoon
  • Light essential oil or fragrance of your choice for scent

Learn how to make neem soap at home

First, you need to collect neem leaves and wash them thoroughly. Let them soak for a few minutes. Grind these leaves into a paste. If you have neem powder available from the market, you can use that as well.

Now, for the soap base, cut the soap into small pieces. Melt it slowly using a double boiler. Once the soap base has melted to a smooth consistency, add a small amount of neem powder and the neem paste that you had previously ground.

Add neem oil and vitamin E oil to the mixture. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until the mixture is uniform and well combined.

Pour the prepared mixture into a silicone mold to form the soap shape. Let the soap set for a few hours. Once the soap has completely set, remove the bar soap from the mold. Your homemade neem soap is ready.
