Dogecoin Finds Its Ground, Markets Stabilize
Dogecoin is hanging tight near $0.08 this week as the crypto market drifts sideways and traders focus on a coming deadline for major wallet changes. While Bitcoin stays around $78,000–$79,000, it’s Dogecoin that’s grabbing attention, mostly because a lot of people need to move their tokens before a key migration window shuts.

MyDoge Wallet Users Face Urgent Action
One of the biggest updates for the Dogecoin community is the required migration of certain tokens out of the MyDoge wallet. On September 1, MyDoge told users they need to move all DRC-20 tokens and Doginals these are extra digital assets built on Dogecoin out of the wallet before September 17. After that, MyDoge won’t support these assets anymore because Maestro, their indexing partner, is ending its service.
If you don’t take action, your regular DOGE is still safe. There’s no need to move your Dogecoin it will stay in your wallet, untouched. But if you own DRC-20s or Doginals, you have just a couple of weeks to switch them over to another wallet that still works with these tokens.
What’s Actually Changing?
On September 18, Maestro is shutting down its system that helps display and send these tokens. That means MyDoge can’t show your DRC-20s or Doginals or let you do anything with them through their app. Your tokens are still linked to your wallet address on the blockchain, but you won’t be able to see or use them unless you migrate them before the deadline.

Should Dogecoin Aim for $1?
A lot of people online are once again talking about whether Dogecoin can hit the $1 mark. But let’s look at the numbers. The price is now about $0.08, so it has to grow more than 1,100% to get to $1. Analysts say that’s not just a small jump. Dogecoin’s total value would have to multiply by more than 12 times. For comparison, that’s like Bitcoin suddenly shooting from $80,000 to $1 million per coin.
Hopes and hype are part of crypto, but experts warn that a price surge of this size would need a huge inflow of new money, not just excitement from small traders.

Dogecoin’s Underlying Strengths
Even though the meme coin image sticks to Dogecoin, it has kept some solid foundations. For one, Dogecoin runs alongside Litecoin, sharing mining resources to keep the network safe without wasting extra energy.
Sending Dogecoin costs almost nothing just a fraction of a cent so people keep using it for small payments and tipping. And unlike new meme coins that pop up and disappear, Dogecoin has lots of buyers and sellers on big exchanges, keeping liquidity strong.
