New Delhi: The Central Government is set to release funds for farmers soon, a move expected to yield significant benefits. Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the government may transfer the 24th instalment of ₹2,000. The funds are expected to be disbursed in the last week of October, benefiting over 9 crore farmers.
To avail the benefits of the next instalment, farmers must complete certain mandatory formalities. Failure to do so could result in the payment being stalled, causing difficulties for the farmers. Although no official date has been announced for the release, media reports suggest it will happen by the last week of October.

Key Details Regarding the Instalment
Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the government provides financial assistance to farmers. Eligible farmers receive a total of ₹6,000 annually through this scheme, with instalments disbursed at four-month intervals. The previous (23rd) instalment was released by the Central Government on June 20, 2026.
According to the government’s official website, the ₹2,000 instalment is transferred directly to farmers’ accounts via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). Farmers are now eagerly awaiting the next 24th instalment. They can check details regarding the instalment from the comfort of their homes, thereby eliminating any confusion.
How Farmers Can Check Their Status
Beneficiaries of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana can easily check details regarding the instalment amount; farmers must visit the official PM Kisan website. Next, they need to click on the ‘Know Your Status’ option. Then, they must enter their registration number and the captcha code. After entering the OTP received on their registered mobile number, the status will appear on the screen. This allows them to easily view details such as payment status, bank name, UTR number, and the date the money was credited to the account. Farmers Should Complete e-KYC Promptly.

To avail of the instalment benefits under the scheme, it is mandatory for farmers to complete their e-KYC. This requirement is also specified on the official portal. Farmers who fail to complete the e-KYC process will not be able to receive the instalment. Additionally, farmers must ensure that the details linked to their bank accounts, Aadhaar, and land records are accurate; it is advisable to rectify any errors in a timely manner.
How to Check Your Name in the Beneficiary List
Farmers wishing to avail the benefit of the 24th instalment of ₹2,000 should verify whether their name is included in the list. To do this, they need to visit the official website, navigate to the beneficiary list section, and select their state, district, tehsil, block, and village. Furthermore, e-KYC and necessary instalments should be updated in time to avoid any obstacles or delays in receiving the instalment.
