New Delhi: Six months ahead of the Uttar Pradesh elections, the BJP has announced its new team. BJP National President Nitin Navin will strategize the political moves with this new team. Several prominent figures have been included in Nitin Navin’s new team; former Union Minister Smriti Irani and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje have also been given a place.
The BJP has made a major change in its IT cell. Amit Malviya has been removed from the IT cell, and Deepak Mhaske from Chhattisgarh has been appointed as the new IT cell chief. This decision was taken with the aim of further strengthening the network in the era of booming social media. New social media coordinators have also been appointed from four states to bolster the digital network: Priti Gandhi (Maharashtra), Shivanand Dwivedi (Delhi), Alok Bhatt (Uttarakhand), and Arun Yadav (Haryana).

Who is Deepak Mhaske?
Anil Baluni will continue to serve as the party’s media coordinator and media in-charge. This decision is believed to have been taken to make the social media organization more effective across the country. Amit Malviya had been serving as the head of the BJP’s IT cell since 2015. Deepak Mhaske from Chhattisgarh has previously served as a BJP national spokesperson and has played an active role in the party’s organizational and media activities.
Nitin Navin extends best wishes to all
BJP National President Nitin Navin shared a significant message in a post on X. He wrote, “Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to all the newly appointed office-bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s national team. Rich in experience and energy, this team will provide new momentum to the organization under the guidance of respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. I am fully confident that all team members, with a spirit of dedication, will further strengthen the organization and take the resolve of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) and the mission of nation-building to new heights.
Kavita Patidar also gets a place in the new team
Kavita Patidar, a Rajya Sabha MP from Madhya Pradesh, has been entrusted with a major responsibility in Nitin Navin’s new team. Kavita Patidar has now been appointed as a National Secretary of the BJP. She is considered quite popular among women within the party and has established a strong foothold at the grassroots level. The party high command inducted her into the National Executive with the aim of strengthening its outreach among women.

Benefit of OBC Representation
In addition to being an articulate and dynamic female leader, Kavita Patidar hails from the OBC community. Her profile is rooted in grassroots work and active participation in the organizational politics of Madhya Pradesh. The BJP has positioned her as a representative face for both women and the OBC community. Her appointment is regarded as a significant decision in Madhya Pradesh politics, although her formal political identity is primarily built upon her experience with the BJP and in local governance.
