The Kanwar Yatra has begun in Uttar Pradesh, and preparations are underway at the administrative level. All special arrangements are being made to ensure a safe and peaceful Kavad Yatra. Special care is being taken to ensure that devotees do not face any inconvenience. A special control room has been set up at the Uttar Pradesh Police Headquarters to closely monitor the entire arrangement. The purpose of this special control room is to ensure that all pilgrims receive daily updates and monitor the Kavad Yatra 24/7. This will ensure the Kavad Yatra is completely safe and peaceful, ensuring that devotees face no inconvenience.

What’s Special about the Special High-Tech Control Room?

This special high-tech control room has been established to ensure that pilgrims receive daily updates at all times. It will ensure that all pilgrims receive special security information along sensitive routes in the state to prevent any accidents. For this purpose, modern cameras, CCTV cameras, drone cameras, and real-time monitoring systems have been used to monitor each and every event. Furthermore, an advanced feature has been activated in this system that will alert in case of large crowds or accidents, allowing the situation to be brought under control.

The police will continuously review this in detail until the Kavad Yatra is over. Police personnel on duty have been given strict instructions to closely monitor security arrangements. These instructions are being issued so that any accidents that occur can be brought under control immediately.

Heavy Deployment

Thousands of police personnel have been deployed in anticipation of the Kavad Yatra. No compromise has been made on security; complete security arrangements have been made to ensure the safety and security of the event is maintained. The Uttar Pradesh Police’s goal is to ensure that the Kavad Yatra is completely peaceful, safe, and orderly. To this end, the Uttar Pradesh Police has deployed traffic police, civil police, and RAF personnel along various routes. Besides, the safety and health of the devotees have also been taken care of completely, for which complete arrangements for ambulance and emergency services have also been made.

Let us tell you that the Kanwar Yatra in Uttar Pradesh will continue from 30 July to 11 August. During this, devotees will come from different places and will carry Ganga water from Haridwar and perform Jal Abhishek in the temples of their respective districts while travelling on foot. Keeping this in mind, 25,000 policemen, 7,000 CCTV cameras and AI surveillance have been deployed in Meerut zone. Apart from this, keeping in view the security on different routes, liquor and non-veg shops have also been completely closed on the Kanwar routes.
