New Delhi: While inaugurating and laying the foundation stones for various projects in Western Uttar Pradesh today, UP CM Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing attack on the previous Samajwadi Party (SP) government. He also made a strong statement regarding the elimination of the mafia and the maintenance of law and order. Addressing the public from the stage, he took sharp aim at SP stalwart Azam Khan and the Saifai family.

Simultaneously, he highlighted the public welfare schemes being implemented by his government. CM Yogi Adityanath was on a visit to Amroha on Saturday, where he fiercely criticised the Samajwadi Party.

Gift of projects worth ₹207 crore

On Saturday, UP CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 42 development projects worth over ₹207 crore in Amroha. During the event, he targeted the opposition over the issue of law and order. He stated that there are now only two places for those who tamper with law and order: “jail or hell.” He further added that his government has taken strict action against the mafia and, true to its resolve, has “reduced the mafia to dust.”

He went on to say that previously, the “Rampur Syndicate” and the “Saifai Syndicate” used to monopolise employment opportunities for the youth. That is no longer possible because his government is in power in the state. He recalled having said earlier that the moment the BJP government came to power, such people would scurry back into their holes with their tails between their legs.

Funds now reach the accounts of eligible beneficiaries

CM Yogi Adityanath also launched a scathing attack on the Congress government. He noted that in the past, out of every ₹100 sent from Delhi, only ₹15 actually reached the poor, while SP and Congress members siphoned off the remaining ₹85. That is no longer the case; today, under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, the full ₹100 reaches the beneficiaries’ accounts directly.

Farmers previously did not get fair prices

Addressing the gathering, CM Yogi Adityanath made a significant statement regarding farmers, emphasising that they deserve better compensation and fair prices for their produce. He claimed that before 2017, sugarcane farmers did not receive a fair price for their crops.

Had the previous government been in power, the state’s sugar industry would have shut down. He stated that the NDA government is ensuring the operation of 122 sugar mills. Previously, the price of sugarcane was around ₹300 per quintal, whereas it is now selling for up to ₹400 per quintal.
