New Delhi: Various efforts are being made to empower women economically and make them self-reliant. Both central and state governments have launched specific schemes for the upliftment of women, and a large number of women are benefiting from these state-run programs.
Women associated with the Madhya Pradesh government’s ‘Ladli Behna Yojana’ are expected to receive another significant benefit. Under this scheme, the government transfers ₹1,500 to their accounts every month. The government is now set to transfer the next, specifically, the 38th instalment.
It is anticipated that the instalment amount will be transferred to accounts via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) by July 15. However, there has been no official announcement regarding the specific transfer date; such claims are currently circulating in media reports. Only women who are bona fide residents of Madhya Pradesh and are listed under the scheme are eligible for its benefits.

Instalments Received So Far
A total of 37 instalments of the Ladli Behna Yojana, launched by the Madhya Pradesh government, have been released to date. The 37th instalment of ₹1,500 was released last month on June 14, 2026, by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
More than 1.25 crore (12.5 million) women benefited from that instalment. The government releases ₹1,500 monthly under this scheme to lead women toward self-reliance.

Conditions for Joining the Scheme
If you wish to register for the Ladli Behna Yojana but are not yet enrolled, there are certain important requirements to understand first. The woman must be a native resident of Madhya Pradesh. Married, widowed, and divorced women are eligible for the scheme; unmarried women cannot apply. Applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 60. Additionally, the annual income of the woman’s family must not exceed ₹2.50 lakh.
