South korean car company Hyundai Motor India limited has launched the updated 2026 Hyundai Verna in India. The starting price of the new sedan is Rs.10,98,400 ex-showroom. In this facelift model, the company has added more than 25 updates related to design, technology, comfort and safety. The new Verna comes with a refreshed look and improved the features to give it a better driving experience. In the mid-size sedan segment, the verna will continue to compete with cars like Honda city, skoda slavia and volkswagen virtus. According to the company, these new updates will help the verna strengthen its position in this segment.
Variants and Price
The new Variant in verna is available in 6 variants- HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6+, HX8 AND HX10. The price of the sedan of the sedan starts from Rs.10.98 lakh and goes up to Rs.18.25 lakh depending on the variant and features.
Two engines options
Hyundai is offering the new Verna with two petrol engine option. The first is a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. Which is suitable for smooth daily driving and better fuel efficiency. The second option is a 1.5 litre turbo petrol engine. which delivers more power and a sportier driving experience. Buyers can choose the engine according to their driving needs.
Exterior updates
the new 2026 Hyundai Verna comes with several cosmetic updates to give it a more premium look. It now features a black chrome radiator grille, dual led projector headlamps, and redesigned front and rear bumpers. The sedan also gets the 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and a sharper stance. Enhancing its road presence. According to Hyundai, the verna is the widest sedan in its segment, with a wheelbase of 2,670 mm, offering the better stability and comfort.

Both the driver and passengers get electric seat adjustments the driver seat has 8-way adjustment memory and welcome retract features, while the passenger seats get the 4-way adjustments with a walk-in device. the car also features Hyundai Blue link connected car technology with 70+ connected features and support for 350+ voice commands.
