Maruti Suzuki reported a 3% YoY increase in total sales to 1,80,526 units, driven by stronger exports.

Its domestic wholesale volume stayed nearly flat at 1,37,776 units, despite weak demand.

Mahindra & Mahindra posted robust sales of 83,691 units, up 26% YoY led by SUVs.

SUV sales grew ~20%, aided by strong demand for Scorpio‑N, XUV700 & BE 6 series.

Tata Motors saw overall sales dip 4% YoY to 69,131 units, while PV shipments dropped.

Commercial vehicle sales rose ~7% to 28,956 units, offsetting passenger vehicle weakness.

Hyundai India’s sales declined 7% YoY to 60,073 units, led by weaker domestic dispatches.

Domestic dispatches fell over 10% to 43,973 units, even as exports rose slightly.

Overall passenger vehicle sales rose about 1% YoY, indicating a slight recovery.

Analysts expect flat growth ahead in FY26 due to sluggish urban consumer demand.
